It is so stressful to make decisions about a funeral when you’re overwhelmed by grief.
On first hearing about a death we are in shock and our thinking in the days ahead is cloudy. It is so important to take the time and slow down, make the space to create the celebration that you want.
Having the support of someone who can ease the burden gives you the chance to plan a meaningful tribute.
I help you to design a memorable funeral that reflects your loved one. A service that is:
- personal as well as uplifting
- a heartfelt celebration.
I became a Funeral Celebrant, as I wanted to provide a ceremony that genuinely reflected the qualities of the deceased and all aspects of their life. By creating a ceremony that is authentic, relevant and meaningful to your family and your community, you are supported in accepting the loss.
The only way to do a funeral is your way, your words and wishes.
There is so little time to put it all together and that’s where I come in, easing the process, guiding you through the choices and possibilities.
By not feeling rushed, you have time to be with your loved ones. I provide support and sensitivity at this painful time.
In addition to being a member of the Funeral Celebrants Association, I am a trained a Holistic Counsellor. I have facilitated artistic workshops that healed and transformed lives. I have worked in a wide range of educational settings as a leader, teacher, tutor, coach and facilitator for over 30 years.
I bring a wealth of professional and personal experiences to my role of helping, caring and supporting you.
You can have a unique ceremony that has been facilitated by me with empathy and understanding, which reflects the life of your loved one.
